ABOUT ME

‘On the other side of commitment is something great, something life-changing’

I’m not unique and I’m not special. You and I, we are the same, we have the same mind and the same capabilities – it’s what life intended.
For most of my adult life I have been at war with myself. I’ve battled tirelessly with negative thoughts and at times led a double life. Addiction to recreational drugs and steroids, depression, low self-esteem, suicide attempt, self-harm, mental breakdown and admission into a secure hospital are all part of my story, but my story is just one of many in the current times which is sad. So, my honesty is not for sympathy, nor is it for attention, but quite simply for awareness…with hard work and relentless daily action you have the power to change your mind set and your life.
It was September 2015 when I suffered a break-down, this was to be the very start of a life transformation. I was in pieces with mental and physical scars of what had happened and totally unrecognisable to myself, I thought I would never recover. Once out of hospital, I was watched over by a team of professionals and prescribed medication which completely dulled my senses.

This is when I began my fight, I stopped taking the medication they put me on as I believed it was making me worse. I had an inner belief that I could get through it naturally with a fight, I wasn’t sure at the time how, but have since learnt that if you really want something, life will provide you with the knowledge and the direction for which to head.

The direction for me at the time was running. Long distance running was something I had always liked the idea of but could never fully commit to due to issues I had surrounding my body image. In June 2016 I had an appointment with a foot consultant at a local hospital who told me that I had advanced Arthritis in my Big Toe and all high impact training would have to cease. It was this diagnoses that triggered a compulsion to run. I entered a 16mile trail run in Lulworth Cove and it was this run that was to change my life. The training and the run itself taught me many very valuable life lessons, all of which I discuss during my seminars. It started a massive life shift into self-awareness and it’s this self-awareness that has changed my life.
I looked at my attitude, my commitment and my determination during the process of the run and realised that if I could bring that mindset into my life…anything is possible. Life is Hard, can be painful at times and it will certainly present many obstacles along the way. It was running that gave me the self-belief that I can deal with hard, I can deal with painful, and all obstacles can be overcome with an Unstoppable Mindset.
So, this is my Journey and I share it with you. Through awareness, learning from all that life throws at me and an understanding that Unstoppable Mindset is about daily positive action, I grow mentally stronger each day. I realise now that the daily habit of positive action brings about the most positive reaction. Since the run, I have changed the way I eat, changed the way I think, and worked on many daily negative thought patterns which helped me create the concept of F@!K THE RAIN.
Nothing worth having comes easy, but I’m here to pass on the knowledge to you that even from the darkest place you can change and if you believe in yourself, you too can be Unstoppable.
